WHO IS THE CLUB FOR?
The Club will be of interest to psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches, psychologists, hypnotherapists, health and wellbeing practitioners, researchers and other clinicians and practitioners using CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) either solely or partially, with clients and patients (work or volunteering) or in research, training and academia. Trainees/students, newly qualified and experienced practitioners are all welcome to join – we believe that we can all learn from each other, no matter what stage we are at or how long we have been in the field. This is an in-person, face-to-face Club that provides regular meetings, events and groups. More details of what’s on offer below.
WHAT DOES THE CBT'ERS CLUB DO?
The CBT’ers Club meets on a regular basis (every 6-8 weeks) and we offer a range of events, groups and meetings so that as many of you are catered for as possible.
We aim to interpolate more formal training, workshops and CPD events with informal networking coffee mornings; professional networking; private practice mastermind clubs; topic and discussion groups; therapist support and supervision groups; skills groups; social outings and more (ideas and suggestions are always welcome).
CPD Certificates are available for all events, meetings and groups we provide. For paid events, CPD Certificates are free. For free events, we do charge a small fee (£5) if you wish a CPD Certificate (and we ask you request this in advance so it can be arranged).
In addition to events, groups and meetings, we also offer access to discounted clinical supervision (your first year of supervision is discounted); discounted therapy/counselling/consulting room hire and meeting/workshop room hire; academic support and mentoring; regular news and updates; private Facebook group; the opportunity to offer talks, groups, training and workshops to other members; and member discounts (offered by other businesses).
We also sometimes host charity events and awareness days, so if you would like to get involved with that, let us know – we want to work with other practitioners and businesses when, and where, we can.
For more information about what we offer, click on the section below you want more information about and an Information Sheet will pop up. Of course, if you need more information about anything, just drop us a line.
